Election 2024: Mahama Pledges Tractor Stations in Farming Communities

John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has promised to establish tractor stations in farming communities across Ghana if elected in the December 7, 2024, polls. These stations are intended to alleviate the challenges farmers face in accessing mechanized support and vital resources.

Speaking during his campaign tour in Kwame Danso, Sene West District of the Bono East Region, Mahama emphasized that every farming community would benefit from these centres, which will be equipped with 10 tractors and essential farming tools.

Farmers would need to form cooperatives, register, and have their farmlands measured to access the services provided at these stations.
