Egypt donates 9,500 Hepatitis C vaccines to Ghana

The Government of has donated 9,500 doses of Hepatitis C vaccines, valued at nearly $80,000, to to strengthen health cooperation between the two nations.

At the presentation ceremony, the Egyptian Ambassador to Ghana, , described the donation as a reflection of deepening collaboration between African countries in addressing shared health challenges.

He stressed the importance of intra-African support, noting that stronger partnerships can reduce reliance on external aid while improving healthcare outcomes across the continent.

The Ambassador also highlighted broader opportunities for cooperation between Ghana and Egypt, particularly in pharmaceutical development and local vaccine manufacturing.
