Legendary footballer and Argentine star, Diego Armando Maradona may be dead and gone but his legacy still leaves on.
Not only was the Stadio San Paolo renamed Stadio Diego Armando Maradona today.

But a metro station also became part of a Napoli Museum.
The local council rushed through the plans to call the stadium after Maradona just days after his death last month at the age of 60.
That wasn’t the only tribute, though, because the Cumana metro station has also been renamed the Mostra-Stadio Maradona stop.
It has become a sort of museum in itself, with artwork all along the walls depicting moments from Napoli’s history.

There are plans to build a museum to Napoli within the stadium, including the items left outside the gates in tribute to Diego following his death.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis and forward Victor Osimhen were present at the unveiling.
