The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced Dennis Miracles Aboagye as the Director of Communications and Spokesperson for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s 2024 campaign team. The unveiling of the campaign team revealed Dr. Bawumia as the Campaign Chairman, with Dan Botwe as the Campaign Manager. Dr. Gideon Boako will serve as the spokesperson for Dr. Bawumia.
Aboagye, currently a presidential staffer focusing on Local Government and Decentralization, also serves as the Executive Secretary for the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralization. His appointment highlights his role in shaping the party’s communication strategy.
With a background in political science from the University of Ghana Legon and a Chartered Postgraduate diploma in marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing UK, Aboagye’s extensive political experience includes serving as the Municipal Chief Executive for Akuapem North and as the campaign manager for the NPP in the Akropong constituency during multiple elections.
Aboagye’s appointment is expected to leverage his effective communication skills and political acumen to steer the NPP’s campaign leading up to the 2024 National Election. His role will be pivotal in shaping the party’s message and strategy for the upcoming polls.
