Barcelona have confirmed that Samuel Umtiti has tested positive for coronavirus.

The defender didn’t travel with Quique Setien’s squad to Lisbon for the Champions League because of injury.

“The player is asymptomatic, is in good health and is isolating at home,” Barcelona said in a statement.

While Umtiti remains in Barcelona, Setien’s side take on Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League at the Estadio da Luz on Friday.
