 Chris Hughton Announces 25-Player Squad for Ghana’s 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

Black Stars coach Chris Hughton has unveiled a 25-player squad for Ghana’s upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Madagascar and Morocco. The Ghanaian national team will host Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, November 17, 2023, before traveling to Moroni to face Comoros on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

Notable inclusions in the squad are Majeed Ashimeru and Joseph Wollacot, who make a comeback after being sidelined due to injury. The experienced captain Andre Ayew has also returned to the team after missing the previous two matches against Mexico and the USA.
