Cecelia Dapaah Dead Brother’s Bank Account Still Active, Sending Money to the Sanitation Minister – Office of the Special Prosecutor

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has uncovered suspicious financial transactions involving the late brother of Cecilia Dapaah, the former Sanitation Minister. The deceased brother’s bank account has been sending money to Cecilia Dapaah’s account even though he passed away in January 2022, and there is no legal documentation authorizing such transfers.

Furthermore, the OSP has revealed that Cecilia Dapaah used aliases to conceal transactions related to an undisclosed real estate business. This allowed her to obscure the ownership of the properties and avoid detection while receiving the proceeds in her bank accounts.

Additionally, the OSP’s investigation has found unexplained large sums of money in Cecilia Dapaah’s residence, which exceed her income as a Minister of State. There are allegations that her house-helps may have taken some of this money through theft.
