CAF Reschedules Ghana vs. Sudan Doubleheader for 2025 AFCON Qualifiers

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced new dates for Ghana’s doubleheader against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed the change, with the matchday three and four fixtures now set for Thursday, October 10, and Tuesday, October 15, 2024, instead of the original dates of October 11 and 14, 2024.

Ghana will host Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg on October 10, with the second leg scheduled to take place in Benina, Libya, on October 15, 2024.

The Black Stars, seeking their first win of the qualifiers, currently sit third in Group F with just a point, following a 1-0 loss to Angola and a 1-1 draw against Niger.
