The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) has directed that all sporting events be held behind closed doors with immediate effect after a spike in COVID-19 cases in the country.
The Ministry has issued a communique on Friday to that effect.
The decision will thus affect the Ghana Premier League and all other football competitions in line with the recent COVID-19 protocol by the Confederation of African Football to organize football matches without spectators.
