Nana Yenhyira Kwadwo Kumah, the Krontihene of the Goaso Traditional Area in the Bono Region, was discovered dead in a bush near town.
The revelation has left the whole Goaso township in mourning.
The incident is being investigated by the Ahafo Regional Police Command.
The body was taken to the Goaso Government Hospital mortuary.
In an interview, Richard Kwabena Acheampong, the late chief’s son, stated, “From eyewitnesses, they found him under a certain tree.” He was motionless and lying prostrate.
“His clothes were not torn, there was no blood anywhere, no sign of struggle, nothing.” Nothing like it existed.
The matter is being investigated by the police.
