Bofoakwa Tano Football Club has officially announced their separation from Coach Frimpong Manso through a press release. This development follows recent controversies involving hooliganism among the team’s supporters.
Having earned promotion to the Ghana Premier League from the Division 1 League last season, Bofoakwa Tano initially performed well in the ongoing league. They soared to the top of the league table early on with commendable wins against Hearts of Oak and Real Tamale United.
Coach Frimpong Manso, alongside assistant Issac Sarfo, contributed significantly to the team’s rise, guiding them to the 6th position on the league table by the end of game week 11 this season.
In a statement issued by the club, the decision to part ways with the coaching staff was made in the best interest of the club’s future.
Frimpong Manso becomes the second coach to depart from a club recently, following the mid-November disengagement between Hearts of Oak and their former coach, Martin Koopman.
Bofoakwa Tano Football Club won’t be in action this weekend in the Ghana Premier League, as their scheduled fixture clashes with Dreams FC’s commencement of their CAF Confederation Cup campaign on Saturday.
