The Black Stars have commenced preparations for their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign with a four-day training camp in Accra. The team gathered on Monday, March 17, 2025, ahead of their crucial matches against Chad and Madagascar in Group I.
Ghana will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, before traveling to Morocco to face Madagascar on Monday, March 24. The training camp is expected to help the team fine-tune their tactics and build cohesion ahead of these important fixtures.
Nine players reported for the first session, including goalkeepers Lawrence Ati Zigi, Joseph Wollacott, and Benjamin Asare, as well as defenders Gideon Mensah and Mohammed Salisu. Also present were Razak Simpson, Antoine Semenyo, Kamaldeen Sulemana, and Kamaradini Mamudu. The rest of the 23-man squad is expected to join in the coming days.
