Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership will kick off a nationwide “Thank You Tour” on Wednesday, April 23, starting from the party’s headquarters in Accra.
The tour, themed “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), is aimed at appreciating supporters following the party’s defeat in the 2024 elections. It will span all 16 regions, featuring regional and constituency-level engagements.
A special three-day programme will be held in the Ashanti Region from April 29 to May 1, due to its political significance. The tour will end in the Central Region on June 4, 2025, and will culminate in interfaith thanksgiving services involving both Christian and Muslim leaders.
NPP’s National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye, called on members to participate actively and uphold unity throughout the tour.
