The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is set to launch his campaign for the 2024 General Election on Monday, April 29, 2024.
The campaign will commence in the Eastern Region, as announced in a press statement by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign.
During the campaign, Dr. Bawumia will engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including traditional leaders, the clergy, youth, traders, drivers, farmers, and students. He will also visit businesses, including marketplaces, to interact with traders and consumers.
The campaign activities will include engaging with the media, holding town hall meetings, and continuing regular stakeholder engagements with the Ghanaian people. Dr. Bawumia has been actively consulting and interacting with various groups across the country since before his election as Vice President on November 4, 2023.
In preparation for the campaign, Dr. Bawumia and the NPP leadership have been working to put structures, personnel, logistics, and programs in place for a comprehensive, inclusive, constructive, and impactful presidential and parliamentary campaign.
