The former Vice President described the journey as an act of gratitude to Allah for His blessings and an opportunity to seek divine guidance and protection for Ghana.
“This pilgrimage is a moment of deep reflection and prayer, not just for myself but for the peace, prosperity, and development of our beloved nation,” Dr. Bawumia stated.
Dr. Bawumia was joined on the pilgrimage by his wife, Samira Bawumia, and other prominent figures, including:
- Former Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam
- Former Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif
