Bantamahene kneels before Otumfuo to seek mercy over destoolment

Otumfuo Osei Tutu, the Asantehene, has been invited to forgive Bantamahene Baffour Owusu Amankwaatia IV of some ‘sins’ he supposedly committed.

The Bantamahene was seen on his knees with some elders before Otumfuo pleading for mercy to avoid his sanctions.

After involvement in some disgraceful acts, Bantamahene is closest to destoolment according to reports.

According to surveys by some sub-heads in the Ashanti Territory, Baffour Owusu was found blameworthy of intruding on portions of the land at the Race Course Market.

Reports reveal that Otumfuo Osei Tutu is deciding on whether to lay him off from his seat or not.
