The Bank of Ghana has announced the indefinite postponement of its planned Cedi@60 anniversary launch, originally scheduled for Friday, August 8, at the Accra International Conference Centre.

This decision follows the tragic helicopter crash on Wednesday that claimed the lives of five government officials and three Ghana Armed Forces personnel.

In a statement, the Central Bank expressed its regret over the postponement, noting that the change was necessary in light of the national tragedy.
