Asante Kotoko Replaces Kwame Poku With Another Brazilian Player

Asante Kotoko have signed another Brazilian player following the announcement of striker Michael Vinícius Silva de Morais on Wednesday.

The player, who is simply known as Michael, has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal, becoming the second player from the popular football country to join the Porcupine Warriors.

The 27-year-old will team up with compatriot Fabio Gama, who joined Kotoko last year and is having a great time in Ghana.

Kotoko will be Michael’s 11th club in his professional career which started in his native country in 2014.

He has featured for the likes of Brazilian top-flight side Fluminense, Portugal’s GD Estoril Praia, Linkoping City and Vasalunds IF in Sweden.

Michael joined Vasalunds IF after a short spell in the Japanese third-tier with Iwate Grulla Morioka.
