Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has made his ambition known concerning taking up the position of an MP in his constituency.
He disclosed that people in his constituency have expressed their interest in him to represent them in Parliament.
According to reports, the reason for this decision is because of his contributions in the constituency even before Covid-19 as well as during the Covid-19 period.
The former captain have been engaged in uncountable philanthropic activities. Few years ago, he disclosed he spent over GHS 5 million on charity work.
Recently, he is constructing a road and providing relief for people in his constituency during the Covid-19 period which has facilitated the Constituency’s interest in him to represent them in Parliament.
