Armed Men Disrupt Live Broadcast at Metro TV

A group of armed individuals stormed Metro TV, an Accra-based television station, during a live broadcast on Wednesday, November 27.

According to a staff member at the station, around ten people dressed in police uniforms entered the premises, sparking immediate concern. When questioned about their presence, the officers reportedly stated they were searching for “someone.”

A video circulating online shows a tense exchange between Metro TV’s Morning Show host, Dr. Randy Abbey, and some of the officers. Dr. Abbey confronts the armed individuals about their actions, and the situation escalates as the confrontation grows heated.
