Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo opened his 2025/26 Premier League campaign in style, netting twice against Liverpool on Friday, August 15, at Anfield. Although Bournemouth fell 4-2 to the reigning champions, Semenyo’s explosive pace and sharp finishing caught the spotlight.

However, Federico Chiesa restored Liverpool’s advantage in the 88th minute before Mohamed Salah sealed the victory in stoppage time.
