‘Allow ’60-Year Old Woman To Marry A Baby, They Have A Right Too’ – Kwesi Pratt Slams Anti-LGBTQ+ Bill Fighters

Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has fired salvoes at those claiming the anti-LGBTQ+ bill is a violation of fundamental human rights of homosexuals.

The bill, which has been proposed by some Members of Parliament, has been disputed by some scholars, lawyers and Professors in the country.

But to Kwesi Pratt, the ”human rights” argument by the group is untenable.

Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM’s ”Kokrokoo”, he contended; ”If 1-year child develops attraction for his mother and wants to marry her should be allowed to marry his mother. Why should we stop him because it’s his right? That’s how he feels; he feels like marrying a 60-year old woman. If that’s the issue, then we should remove the marriage limitation.”

”In our laws, if you’re married by ordinance and you decide to marry another woman in addition, you will end up in jail. Why? Why are we not talking about right here too? Is this not also a right? So, if you want to marry 100 women, we should allow you to marry the 100. What is the problem?”, he added.
