Alan Kyerematen Chooses Kwame Owusu Danso as Running Mate for 2024 Elections

Founder and Leader of the Movement for Change (M4C), Alan Kyerematen, has officially named Kwame Owusu Danso as his running mate for the upcoming 2024 elections. The announcement was made shortly after Kyerematen submitted his nomination at the Electoral Commission on Wednesday.

Kwame Owusu Danso, a well-respected lawyer and political figure in Ghana, is known for his diverse expertise in law, corporate management, broadcast journalism, and civil society activism.

His nomination is seen as a strategic decision to broaden the campaign’s appeal, particularly among Ghana’s youth and governance advocates.

In a statement issued by Kyerematen, he highlighted that Owusu Danso’s selection reflects the aspirations of young Ghanaians seeking more inclusion in national decision-making.

Owusu Danso has collaborated with notable professionals such as Dr. Lloyd Amoah of the University of Ghana and governance experts Dr. Kojo Asante and Dr. Franklin Oduro of the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD).

He is also a founding member of the Forum for Accountable Governance (FAG), where he has championed causes related to anti-corruption, electoral reforms, environmental governance, and human rights.
