Akufo-Addo Is The Most Deceitful Ghanaian President In History – Captain Smart

Controversial and highly opinionated radio and television personality, Captain Smart has labeled the president, H.E Nana Akufo Addo and his government as the most deceitful government in Ghana’s history.

Captain Smart ranted on his show on Onua TV reminding Akufo Addo of how he flared up and agitated when former President John Mahama increased fuel prices yet he has done worse things than Mahama in his tenure.

According to him, the current government has done the opposite of what it battled against while in opposition.

“In the Fourth Republic, you have fooled Ghanaians more than any other government. This administration has been the most deceitful. Even Rawlings, whose government was a military government, did not do so, and neither did J. A. Kufuor or Prof. Mills. You were all over the place raging when Mahama hiked petrol prices on a few occasions, and now you come to tell us you are performing.”

Captain Smart claims that the Akufo-Addo government’s dishonesty is manifested in the failures of his major projects, such as One District One Factory.

Meanwhile, Captain Smart has asked for forgiveness from former President John Mahama.

He said the 2020 National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer should forgive him for all the previous corruption allegations he leveled against him while in office.

He said he has clarified that reports suggesting years ago that former President John Dramani Mahama was so corrupt that he had houses in the United Arab Emirates were palpable falsehood.

According to him, he personally traveled to Dubai in search of the said houses, adding that he did not find even a single room in the name of Mahama let alone a house.

He continued that contrary to reports that Mahama had stashed monies away, his checks also proved negative.
