Akua Donkor to Be Laid to Rest Today

The late founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor, will be laid to rest today, Saturday, March 29, 2025, in her hometown of Ejuratia. The burial ceremony is expected to draw family members, political allies, and the general public who wish to pay their final respects to the outspoken politician and farmer’s advocate.

The final rites will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with dignitaries from various political backgrounds and community leaders expected to attend.
