Vivian Jill has expressed her joy in spending her birthday with the poor a village called Twapiasi
Actress Vivian Jill Lawrence on Friday made a hefty donation for the poor and the needy in a village called Twapiasi in Kumasi, the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The event, which was part of the actress 37th birthday celebration, was her way of giving back and helping the needy in society. Though she could have enjoyed at home with her numerous celebrity friends, Vivian decided to spend the day with the poor.
She provided the children with food items, drinks and toiletries as a gesture to put smiles on the faces of the patients.
She also made a cash donation towards the upkeep of the people in Twapiasi . According to Vivian Jill Lawrence, she chose to spend her birthday with people in Twapiasi because she discovered two widows who came on her shows and decided to put a smile on their faces.

I didn’t have to wait till I have so much before I can reach out to the poor. So, on this day, I decided to spend my birthday @ Twapiasi, the village I discovered two widows that featured in my single parenting program. I’m so glad to be a blessing to the entire community.
