Abena Osei-Asare, the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, has resigned from her position as a non-executive director of Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB), effective August 7, 2024. She stepped down after serving on the board for six years, having been appointed in August 2018.

During her tenure, Osei-Asare contributed significantly to the bank, notably chairing ADB’s Risk Committee. Her resignation was prompted by her recent appointments to the Board of Directors of the Bank of Ghana and the Financial Stability Council, which require her to focus on these new roles.
