The Acting Director General of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Mr. Felix Gyamfi, has revealed that a well-known public university was involved in the submission of ghost names to the Scheme. He stated that the institution provided a list containing individuals who were not enrolled students, contributing to the broader fraud scheme currently under investigation.
During an appearance on TV3’s Hot Issues, Mr. Gyamfi declined to mention the name of the university or the exact number of ghost names involved, citing concerns over legal consequences and the potential impact on the institution’s credibility. He indicated, however, that a significant portion of the submitted list had to be deleted.
