Yonsei University confers honorary PhD on President Mahama

John Dramani Mahama has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Administration by Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.

The honour was conferred in recognition of the former president’s contributions to Ghana’s national transformation and economic development, as well as his leadership in public service and democratic governance.

The award formed part of Mahama’s official engagements during his visit to the Republic of Korea.

According to officials, the recognition also reflects the strong and longstanding diplomatic relations between Ghana and South Korea.

The ceremony highlighted Mahama’s role in governance and his influence on public administration and democratic leadership in Ghana.
