The Electoral Commission to announce the positions of Presidential aspirants on the ballot paper soon.
The filing of nomination for the Presidential election which begun on Tuesday, October 6 and ended on Friday, October 9.

The Electoral Commission (EC) is expected on Wednesday, October 14, to arrange a balloting session for cleared Presidential Aspirants,this was disclosed by a source at the EC to the Ghana News Agency.
According to the source,this time around,the ‘first come first serve’ mode will be used to place candidate on the ballot paper.
Meanwhile, some of the aspirants due to different signatures on both the voters’ register and the nomination forms, which raises questions as to the legitimacy of those signatures,will be disqualified.

The next process after sorting out the positioning on the ballot would be the printing of the ballot papers.
Three of the Presidential Aspirants who filed the nominations are hoping to go as independent candidates when cleared by the EC while 14 are aspirants for political parties.
Briefly,three aspirants submitted thier forms on Tuesday,two on wednesday,seven on Thursday and five on friday,which was the end date for submission.
