Ningo to Get Nursing Training College – Sam George

The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram and Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has revealed plans to establish a nursing training college in Ningo.

According to him, the initiative will serve as a centre for health education while opening new career pathways in nursing for graduates of Senior High Schools within the community and beyond.

The announcement was made on Saturday, September 6, 2025, when Mr. George chaired this year’s Homowo Durbar at Ningo.

He also disclosed that construction works on the Tsopoli–Ningo road would soon commence to improve transportation and connectivity in the area.

In support of the 2025 Homowo celebration, the MP donated GHS 100,000 to the Ningo Traditional Council to assist with the successful organisation of the grand durbar.
