The Ministry of Education has announced the opening of the 2025 School Placement Portal for candidates who sat for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The portal, which goes live today, Monday, September 1, 2025, will remain accessible until Sunday, September 8, 2025. This window will allow candidates to verify their details ahead of the release of the final placement results.
Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Professor Ernest Kofi Davis, confirmed the development in an earlier media briefing on August 27.
“With the release of the 2025 BECE results on August 23, we have begun processing the data. Placement will be matched against available vacancies in second-cycle institutions,” he stated.
He further explained that the process would take no more than three weeks, emphasizing the importance of the verification period. “From September 1 to September 8, the portal will be open for candidates to review their school choices, biodata, and other relevant information,” he added.
The GES urged all candidates and parents to take advantage of the verification window to ensure accuracy in the placement exercise.
