The trial of 21-year-old final-year student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Daniel Tuffuor, accused of murdering his girlfriend, Joana Deladem Yabani, has been adjourned to September 15, 2025.

Tuffuor was arrested on Thursday, February 27, 2025, after Joana’s lifeless body was discovered on campus earlier that morning. The University’s security service, upon being alerted, quickly reported the matter to the police.
