
Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has announced a 24-man squad for Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali next month.
The squad includes key players such as Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, Gideon Mensah, Antoine Semenyo, and Inaki Williams. Union Berlin defender Derrick Arthur Köhn earns his first call-up after impressing in the Bundesliga, joining the club this summer from Galatasaray.
Kamal Deen Sulemana, now with Atalanta after leaving Southampton, secures a place, while Elisha Owusu makes a return from injury. Rising talent Caleb Yirenkyi of FC Nordsjaelland also receives a call-up following standout performances in Denmark and at the Unity Cup in London.
Tariq Lamptey returns to the side, with Christopher Bonsu Baah and goalkeeper Joseph Anang among the other notable inclusions.
Ghana currently tops Group I of the African qualifiers with 15 points from six matches. The Black Stars will face Chad on Thursday, September 4, at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno before hosting Mali in Accra on Monday, September 8.
