The Kwesimintsim District Police Command in the Western Region has arrested a man, Anthony Acquah, for allegedly murdering his 17-year-old brother, Francis Mensah, at Mampong-Pepease, a suburb of Sekondi, on August 16, 2025.
In a statement issued on August 21, the police disclosed that Acquah allegedly stabbed his younger brother to death around 6:00 p.m. following a misunderstanding.
He reportedly fled the scene but was later arrested on August 20 at his hideout in Kojokrom through police intelligence.
The suspect is currently in custody and assisting with investigations.
