An Accra Circuit Court has granted bail to social media activist Daniel Adomako, popularly known as Sir Obama Pokuase, and TikTok personality Prince Ofori, alias Fante Comedy. However, both will remain in police custody overnight.
Fante Comedy received a bail sum of GH¢100,000 with three sureties two of whom must be gainfully employed and must surrender his passport to the police. He was arrested on August 12, alongside two others, for allegedly issuing a death threat and publishing false news related to the August 6 helicopter crash. His case will be heard again on August 25, 2025.

Sir Obama Pokuase was granted GH¢50,000 bail with three sureties, two of whom must be salaried workers, including one government employee earning at least GH¢3,000 monthly. He was arrested on August 13 during an intelligence-led operation targeting the illegal possession and public display of sophisticated weapons.
Police investigations, conducted in collaboration with other security agencies, have so far led to the seizure of a significant cache of illegal arms and ammunition, as authorities work to dismantle networks involved in their possession.
