Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested two suspected armed robbers who attacked a resident in Alignment, a suburb of Kwadaso Estate, and fled with valuables including a Samsung smartphone worth GH¢2,000.

The suspects, identified as 22-year-old Issah Abdul and 20-year-old Abdul Rahman, reportedly used a machete and an unregistered blue motorbike to carry out the robbery.

However, a crucial mistake led to their arrest: one of the suspects inadvertently left his own Samsung phone at the scene. The victim later found the device and turned it over to the Suntreso District Police, helping investigators track down the suspects at Sofoline.
