The lifeless body of an unidentified man has been discovered in a stream at Kings Down, a suburb of Oforikrom, following heavy rainfall on Tuesday evening.
Residents made the grim discovery early Wednesday morning, June 4, with the body found partially submerged in the stream. Locals suspect the victim may have been swept away by fast-moving floodwaters triggered by the downpour.
Authorities from the Ghana Police Service and emergency response teams are yet to retrieve the body as investigations into the incident are set to commence.
