Fast-rising rap and highlife artist King Paluta has taken home the award for Best Highlife Song at the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
His popular track Aseda triumphed over stiff competition from established acts such as Fameye, Kuami Eugene, Amerado (Abronoma), Kofi Kinaata (Effiakuma Broken Heart), and Rap Fada’s Odo Bi Ye Bad, which also featured Paluta.
This award marks a major breakthrough for King Paluta, whose blend of rap and highlife continues to reshape the sound of modern Ghanaian music and expand his growing influence across the industry.
Although he was unable to attend the ceremony in person, his public relations officer, MC Portfolio, accepted the award on his behalf.
