“Stop Crying and Fight Galamsey” – Miracles Aboagye Tells Lands Minister

Director of Communications for the 2024 Bawumia Campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has criticized the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, for breaking down in tears over the devastation caused by illegal mining (galamsey) in the Tano Nimiri Forest Reserve.

At a recent press briefing, the visibly emotional minister described destroyed landscapes and muddy streams, leaving the room in stunned silence. But Aboagye, speaking on Channel One TV’s *Breakfast Daily*, said the emotional display was unproductive and created a sense of helplessness.

“We didn’t vote for you to go and cry,” Aboagye said. “This is someone who once claimed they had the solution to galamsey. Now that you have the power, you should act — not weep.”
