December Election Might Be Postponed Due To Western Togoland Secessionist

According to the Governance Research Bureau, the December 7 elections might be postponed if the attacks from the Western Togoland Secessionist do not not stopped.

Speaking on TV3 Election Watch programme monitored by Ghanaarticles.com on Wednesday, Dr. Kwame Asah Asante, Resource Person of the Bureau, explained that the exclusion of any part of the country from exercising their franchise in the presidential election would paralyzed the Electoral Commission from declaring a winner.

The analysts believe that if there should be  any postponement of the December 7 presidential election, it will create a leadership vacuum as Ghana will be without a president after January 7, 2021 though parliamentary elections can be held in the other regions and their results declared.
