IGP Overhauls Police Leadership, Names New Command Heads

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has undertaken a significant reshuffle in the leadership of the Ghana Police Service.

As part of the restructuring, COP/Mrs. Maame Yaa Tiwa Addo-Danquah, Director-General/R&P, and COP/Mr. Paul Manly Awini, Service Workshop, Accra, have been appointed to the reconstituted 31-member Police Management Board.

According to a statement issued on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, and signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs, the changes aim to enhance operational efficiency and management within the service.
