FIFA has confirmed that the Accra Sports Stadium will be the venue for Ghana’s 2026 World Cup qualifier against Chad. The match is set to take place on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 19:00 GMT.
Ghana, currently second in Group I with 9 points, will face Chad in a crucial match as they continue their journey toward the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Black Stars are tied with Comoros in points, having recorded three wins and one defeat.
Ghana’s campaign started with a 1-0 victory over Madagascar, followed by a loss to Comoros. However, they bounced back with back-to-back wins against Mali and the Central African Republic in June last year.
This match against Chad will be vital for Ghana’s qualification hopes as they aim to secure a spot in the 2026 World Cup, set to be hosted in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
