The Ghana Police service has caught hold of 60 culprits ,involved in the recent disturbances in the Volta region,by the Western Togoland secessionist.
Pius Enam Hadzide, a deputy information minister made this known at a Press briefing in Ho,following a series of stakeholder engagements by a high-powered government delegation led by Albert Kan Dapaah,the National Security Minister.
According to the Deputy Minister,more security personnels has been disposed across the Volta region, including Oti region.
He also resemble the suggestion of some security analyst to have a dialogue with the secessionists. He indicated that, the Government is going to treat the situation purely criminal.
It has been alleged that the Volta Region Minister, Dr Archibald Letsa has a hand in the activies going on in the region by the separatists.
Moreover, he has desperately denied the allegations of his connection with the disturbing group and threatened to take legal action against anyone who accuse him falsely.
