Former Deputy Finance Minister and Nhyiaeso MP, Stephen Amoah, has cautioned against making early assessments of President Mahama’s performance.
Amid widespread political discussions about the new administration, Amoah stressed the need for patience, arguing that the president should be given enough time to roll out his policies and demonstrate their impact before being evaluated.
Speaking on Eyewitness News on Citi FM on Thursday, February 20, he advocated for a measured approach, suggesting that a more accurate appraisal could be made within three to six months.
“It is too early to conclude whether the president is performing well or not, aside from political opinions,” Amoah remarked. “By three months, or at most six months, we can properly assess and analyze the presidency.”
