The Members of Parliament with a delegation led by Speaker, Prof Mike Ocquaye paid a courtesy call on former President Rawlings and his family to commensurate with them.
The late Madam Victoria Agbotui became a deceased on Thursday, September 24, 2020, aged 101 and would be laid to rest on October 24, 2020
Prof Mike Ocquaye, during his visit assured Rawlings and his family of the House’ support during the final funeral rites.
Majority leader of Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu and Member of Parliament for Wa West, Joseph Yileh Chireh all extended thier heartfelt condonlences to the family.
Mr. Dan Abodakpi, Chairman of the funeral planning Committee, said Madam Victoria Agbotui’s body will be taken to Dzelukope in Keta for the final internment after a funeral service at the State House.
