NDC Flips Ayawaso Central as Abdul Rauf Tubazu Defeats Henry Quartey

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has claimed a significant victory in Ayawaso Central, with Abdul Rauf Tongym Tubazu unseating Henry Quartey of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 parliamentary elections. Tubazu secured 29,755 votes, surpassing Quartey’s 23,345.

This victory marks one of several key wins for the NDC, including parliamentary seats flipped in Mpohor and Sekondi. These results bolster the NDC’s presence in Parliament and highlight growing support in critical constituencies.
