Titus Glover Apologizes for Destroying Vendor’s Table at Flower Pot Interchange

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Daniel Titus Glover, has apologized for destroying a banana seller’s table at the Flower Pot Interchange. The incident, captured in a viral video, sparked public debate, with some defending his actions while others criticized them.

The Minister admitted during an interview on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem that his actions were excessive and asked for forgiveness. He also expressed willingness to compensate the vendor.

“If the woman shows up, I won’t mind giving her money to buy a new table. However, she must relocate her business from the interchange,” he stated.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, November 20, following Mr. Glover’s earlier warning during the interchange’s commissioning that no kiosks, containers, or unauthorized structures should be placed in the vicinity.

While some praised the Minister for taking swift action to enforce the directive, others questioned his approach.

In response, Mr. Glover reiterated the government’s commitment to maintaining order and announced plans to implement stricter measures to prevent future violations around the interchange.
