Herbert Krapa Appointed as Ghana’s Substantive Energy Minister

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has officially appointed Herbert Krapa as the substantive Minister for Energy. The appointment, which takes effect from Tuesday, November 19, 2024, was announced in a statement signed by Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Jubilee House.

Mr. Krapa, who has been serving as Minister of State at the Ministry of Energy since July 15, 2024, was praised by the President for his exceptional diligence, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to his duties.

According to President Akufo-Addo, these attributes have played a significant role in ensuring the progress and stability of Ghana’s energy sector. He expressed confidence in Mr. Krapa’s ability to drive further growth and transformation in the sector, benefiting the nation as a whole.
