In a heartbreaking incident, four people have lost their lives, and one person remains missing after their vehicle veered off the road and plunged into the Owabi River near Darbaa in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region. The accident, which occurred around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, involved a young girl in school uniform, suggesting they were en route to school.

A video of the tragic scene, shared on Neat FM’s Facebook page, showed rescuers covering the victims with plantain leaves instead of performing CPR. This detail has sparked widespread debate on social media, with many criticizing the lack of basic first aid knowledge, particularly the absence of CPR, which some believe could have saved lives.
